Your wallet is showing you the old art.

The Martian Spawn minting policy is time-locked, so its original CIP-25 metadata can never be re-minted. Before that lock closed we registered a CIP-86 metadata oracle, a standard, on-chain way to keep updating a collection's metadata afterwards. Art upgrades pushed through it are real, signed, and permanently on the blockchain.

They are also, for now, invisible almost everywhere. CIP-86 was authored in 2021 and the indexers every wallet and marketplace is built on have not implemented it yet, so they keep serving the image from the original mint. That is not a bug in your wallet and it is not a broken NFT. It is a standard waiting on adoption.

This page runs our own resolver against the chain and shows you what the metadata actually says today. It works for any policy, not just ours; paste one below.

ORACLE

FOLDING LABEL 86…

For indexers and marketplaces

The resolver behind this page answers in Blockfrost's /assets/{asset} shape, so pointing an existing call at it is a base-URL change rather than an integration. GET /api/cip86/spec documents the authority rule we apply. CIP-86 specifies that an update must be signed by the oracle's update address but never says how a reader should verify that, so we wrote our choice down rather than leaving it implicit.
